New Features in Version 5.0
FileShadow’s new Family Vault allows you to publish Collections of files and photos within your family history applications via an easily accessible web link.
Family Vault Collections work with most common family history applications that allow for a web link as a source. (Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, Geni, MyHeritage, etc.)
Collections supports your curation efforts by allowing you to group one or more files together.
Files can be added to or removed from Collections at any time.
Collections can be shared with other FileShadow users, or published to anyone via a web link.
Entirely New Look & Feel:
All of the features that make collecting, searching, curating and publishing your files so easy is now supported with an even more intuitive user interface.
With the Mac and Windows Desktop clients you can now monitor the progress of your files while they are being uploaded to your FileShadow account. We even provide a way to check your internet speed within the “Preferences” pane.
Stability and Performance Improvements:
As always, FileShadow continues to make improvements in reliability and performance.
If your laptop is lost or stolen, ever think about using FileShadow to ensure your client's records do not fall into the wrong hands?
Do you need to keep everyone on your team up to date with the latest versions of your files, automatically?
Would you like to be able to edit your files securely, even collaboratively, while on a public wifi at the airport or coffee shop?
Trying to figure out how to get that closet full of paper client records into a searchable archive in the cloud?
Need to be able to automatically add custom tags to your files as they are being scanned, and OCR them at the same time?
